American Print House is a contract screen printer servicing local and national accounts desiring screen-printed apparel. Mission Statement
American Print House's mission is to identify valuable licensable properties that translate well on to screen printed knit tops for men and women. Once license is signed, it is American Print House's mission to create quality designs and products and bring them to market as quickly as possible through its in-house and independent sales agents.
American Print House Licenses
In 1990, the Company began by selling Grateful Dead related t-shirts and decals to individual specialty stores in the US under the name Blue Hair Productions. This business quickly grew into original novelty and licensed rock and roll t-shirt and decal properties that included Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Grateful Dead Merchandising, Lava Lamp, and Gibson Guitar to name a few.
Some of Blue Hair’s most successful licenses have included the popular and controversial basketball player Dennis Rodman; talk show host Jerry Springer; and most recently Orange County Choppers, the stars of the popular Discovery channel cable TV show American Choppers.
Products Blue Hair has successfully produced includes men’s screen-printed t-shirts and work shirts, juniors knit tops, embroidered and screen-printed baseball caps, decals, patches, key chains, and bobble heads.
Non-Licensed Products
Consumers have long loved t-shirts for their messages. An article in Smithsonian magazine in the early 1990’s said "as long as people have something to say there will be t-shirts to say it.”
